Advantages and disadvantages of a genre.

An advantage of a genre is you can know weather it's your type of film.

A disadvantage of a genre is you could predict what will happen in the end.

Style of a war genre

For cinematography they would use long shot , close up , panning , tracking , high angle , hand held , mid-shot and point of view.

For Mise en scene they would use dark lighting to show fear and brightness to show success. 

Narrative/plot in a war genre

A group of soldiers go to save someone who has been kept hostage by the enemy army.

A group of soldiers go to another armies base to assassinate somebody.

The genre i have chose to do is War , this will be a movie such as 'Saving private Ryan' or 'Black hawk down' the six key areas i have chose to do are setting , themes , characters , props , narrative / plot and style.
